Her life before the crown-adjacent aisle

Harriet Sperling is a pediatric nurse with the NHS and a freelance writer who champions early brain development. She has a daughter, Georgina, from her previous marriage to Antonio St. John Sperling. For the wedding she wore a floor-length Emilia Wickstead gown and a tiara from jeweler Pragnell.

The romance and the ring

The couple reportedly met at a 2024 sporting event involving their daughters and went public at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024. They announced their engagement on Aug. 1, 2025; the ring was described as a trilogy design and was estimated around £10,000 by 77 Diamonds co-founder Tobias Kormind. Peter, born in 1977 to Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, previously married Autumn Kelly (2008–2021) and is the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth's generation to remarry.
